Second attempt of bargue plate page 8 much better this time around. 

Bargue plate 9

Took a small break for several weeks, deeply annoyed and getting back to It, juggling a promotion more hours more pay and maintaining a consistent work schedule. This Is plate page 9 from the Bargue course book. Still much more to do and I am currently In the works of completing a Romain Julian plate...little more complex and different form of drawing, training Is training and It will get done so I can move on to more studies, landscapes, and portraits.

Julian Plate Study

Plate study after Julien, this Is one of the earlier Julien plates that should be completed the work Is much cleaner and focuses on developing form. While the later plates bring a focus towards mark making and establishing tone on the figure. I tried something new this time I used soft vine charcoal to establish proportions and dimensions accurately before I went In further with the graphite. I recommend this because It Is much easier to wipe away any mistakes of proportions when starting off.
