Artist Bio

Alejandro: I am a student of the Academic Training of 19th Century France, I was born In San Diego, California and raised In Mexico before moving to Arizona. My influences originally stemmed from illustrators such as Will Eisner and Alex Ross but my artistic philosophy has since expanded to include 19th Century Academic Painters such as Alexandre Cabanel and William Bougoureau. I Have refined my focus to have a strong foundation In drawing and seeing shapes, values, edges, and colors. I have studied Across the Nation through Academic programs, apprenticeships and workshops I have also refined my eye by studying In Europe at the Ecole Albert Defois, and Le' Escalier. While I am continuing my education through further study In Europe and In the states, I am currently working as a fine artist In Arizona. Some of My works hang In Private Collections Across the United States and In Europe.
