New Post bunch of new studies and more progress!!!!!!!!

just a bunch of new studies still working through the goldfinger anatomy book i read this study once about this group of ceramic students that were in class and the instructor seperated them in sections.
Section 1 of the students worked on 4 ceramics projects and they did these slowly and worked them into perfection crafting every tiny detail. Section 2 of the ceramic students worked on 25 ceramic pieces the focus was on accuracy and efficiency. At the end of the year the students worked on final projects and it was found that section 2 students were more skilled then section 1 students because they had worked on them and finished many more then section 1 even though they were not perfect. So i decided a couple of years to put myself through self studies of anatomy starting with goldfingers book...looking back i can see the progress...and these are great warm ups before i start painting or a bargue course plate....

so here are some more studies anatomy studies/ ted seth jacobs studies and a basic shape study.

november 1st is the deadline for the scholarship for escalier
If i dont get it i have to wait another year...

so id rather try and fail then not try at all.

New Post!!!! New studies and Updated news

So new job position starts next week at a much higher pay rate which is exciting its more responsibility but w the responsibility comes the new opportunities to grow. Also means France is going to be MUCH faster then originally planned so as of right now the plan is to pay off the balance of some credit cards and paypal balance i recently bought some supplies. Brushes, canvas, paints, etc so i can start working more....etc. 

Now to balance the finances, start saving again put together ANOTHER portfolio and send it to studio escalier....!!! very exciting  its been a 4 year struggle but almost there.

5 New studies

Keep practicing, 5 new small studies working on 3 more going through about 20 more before i start doing long term pieces...gotta get used to paint handling

2 More studies, just keep practicing and practicing plan on painting all the photos on my Goldfinger Anatomy book

2 more studies the second study was with my new brushes, the edges are still rough but its getting easier to handle the paint which is good. Each one i will continue to refine and further understand paint handling. I've got about 1 year and a half to catch up 10 months from my new job and the remainder from my previous job where i was at a stopping point. Now that I've worked at a good standing in my position i can continue to practice.

Obviously these are not refined by the least, but that main objective isnt to make a pretty painting, its to understand paint handling.
