so I've got a TON of new stuff to post but i don't have the time right now to do so. I'm actually getting some copies of my ted seth jacobs dictionary of human anatomy book copied so i can practice his process as my warm ups for drawing the figure accurately.
so ill just post this painting i did. nothing great but it has good memories worked super early in the morning to finish it in cattonoga california.
if you notice on the bottom of my easel I'm using the 3 primary colors as a point of reference. as well as black and white. from my understanding after working with painter timothy rees (google him you won't be disappointed) its all about relationships for example. one color may look cool or blue but if you add another shade a blue thats even more cooler then original color will in turn look warmer compared to the newer color. ill post some examples of what i mean possibly this weekend. its very interesting as this form of understanding. i.e comparing relationships is a processed used in drawing when comparing line, shape, value, and in painting. color.
also I'm working on my portfolio for espalier and the green shields grant. very nervous about 4 years of studying lets see how good i am..! and if someone thinks I'm worth it enough to pay for my trip to europe!
